Theolepsia

Ch. 45.28
The state in which the theogenic drive has captured thumos; shield / safe mode / lock.
Theolepsia is the final stop of the crystallization process within the individual. The institution has frozen, and the individual can no longer step outside that frozen structure to look at it, because the mold itself also contains the very ground on which questioning would be possible.

This state is not a weakness; it is a functional safe mode the mind develops against uncertainty. Functionality and truth are not the same thing.

Academic origin: The term extends "theolepsy" (theos + lepsis), known since 1851, to fit this framework's needs.
