The original concept set that builds the Protodik Hypothesis. Read them one by one below, or explore them interactively in the Concept Explorer.
Religion killed God the moment it put him in a mold: the instant a living search became a fixed answer.
The evolutionarily grounded drive toward meaning and transcendence present in the human mind prior to any specific religion.
The evolutionary substrate of thumos, present in all complex nervous systems as existential warmth.
The transitional capacity between prothumos and thumos; a pre-linguistic sensitivity oriented toward the invisible.
The inner life force of meaning-production. Evolutionary in origin; liberated after theolysis.
Every successful belief system crystallizes by virtue of its success, thereby ending the search it began.
The state in which the theogenic drive has captured thumos; shield / safe mode / lock.
The mind's mechanism for monitoring its own belief layer, across four layers: logical, analytical, supervisory, perceptual.
The irreversible moment MADAD activates and the mold is seen from outside for the first time.
The condition of having seen the mold but not yet completed theolysis: seeing clearly while still inside.
A person living in the metaxima condition.
The breaking moment in which the theogenic drive loses its object: at the individual level, a single dateable instant, not a process.
The release of thumos that follows theolysis.
The practice of seeing the mold as a capacity rather than a container, and keeping that view alive.
After theolysis: mourning not the object of the mold but the mold itself.
A transition in which the theogenic drive remains active but its mold-object changes.
The stance that opens up once religion is seen as a prototype rather than a final answer.
The same four-variable reform mechanism operates identically at every scale: from an apartment manager to the founding of a civilization.
Modern secular rule-of-law states were built by religious reformers using religious authority as their only available legitimizing language.
The difference between good and bad uses of the theogenic drive as fuel: it rests on structure, not intent.
